Receiving & Unboxing Your Clones

Your clones have been carefully packaged to survive transit. Follow these steps immediately upon arrival to ensure they recover quickly and thrive.

Step 1: Inspect the Package

Before opening, check the exterior of the box for any signs of damage. If the box is severely crushed or wet, photograph it before opening — this helps with any claims if needed.

Step 2: Open Carefully

Use scissors or a box cutter along the tape only — never cut deeply into the box. Remove packaging materials gently and locate your clones.

Step 3: Assess Your Clones

Some wilting is completely normal after transit. This is caused by darkness, CO₂ buildup, and humidity fluctuations during shipping. Do not panic — this is temporary.

Step 4: Rehydrate Immediately

Place clones in a warm, humid environment (70–80% RH) right away. Mist the leaves lightly with pH-balanced water (6.0–6.5 pH). Do not water the medium heavily at this stage.

Step 5: Give Them Time

Allow 12–24 hours in a humidity dome under gentle light before making any judgements. Most clones will perk up significantly within this window.

What to Expect

  • Slight leaf droop — normal, resolves within 24 hours
  • Minor yellowing on lower leaves — normal, remove cleanly
  • Soft stems — normal, will firm up once humidity stabilises
